Scottish Power

ScottishPower is part of the Iberdrola Group, one of the world's largest integrated utility companies and a world leader in wind energy. With over five million customers they required a unified design language for the digital touch points of their business. As a UX/UI Designer at Scottishpower my role involved working collaboratively with the rest of the digital team to produce user centric design solutions in response to business requirements. I was an integral part of the design team that was formed to establish a design system where there had previously been none.

Outcome: Helped establish ScottishPower's first company-wide design system — spanning the customer app, account section, a retail-team iPad app, and call-centre UI — for a business serving over 5 million customers.

During my time at Scottishpower I was able to work on a range of projects. These included:

• Designing new features within the Scottishpower app.
• Redesigning the my account section.
• Designing an Ipad application for retail sales teams.
• Designing UI for a call centre application.
• Other design tasks such as designing landing pages, email communication, and motion graphics.
